IDENTIFY A PRATHER CUE

...from 1982 and beyond.
We built our first cue in 1982. From 1982 through 1993 we kept only a "pocket diary" of the cues we made and who purchased them (mostly family and friends at first). Jennifer Prather owns the first Prather Cue (cue #2) with inlaid points in the prong, while Daniel Prather, Jr. owns the first Prather Cue (cue #3) with floating inlays. However, our very first cue (cue #1) with no points and only a thin veneer inlay went to our dear family friend Ronnie Kelting (Big Ron). During the years 1982 through 1993 we produced approximately 120 cues. Starting in 1994 we began engraving our weight bolts with the "unique year" designs, along with "handwritten" signatures by Jeff Prather. This signature can appear nearly anywhere on the cue (depending on the design) though most are in the prong area. These "handwritten" signatures almost always say "Prather (year)" and sometimes "to (customer name) by Prather (year)" or even more personalized with a unique "expression."
